Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Colombo

Arrival at the Airport: Welcome to Sri Lanka!
Meet your driver/guide.
Check in at the hotel . Rest a little.
Evening free to explore or just rest. Overnight at the Hotel in Colombo.

Day 2: Colombo - Pinnawala - Kandy (125 kms)

After breakfast, drive to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Spend some time observing the elephants, learning about their care, and watching them bathe in the river. Then Proceed for Kandy
Kandy City Tour:○ Temple of the Tooth Relic: Explore this significant Buddhist site, which houses a relic of the Buddha.○ Royal Botanical Garden: Stroll through beautiful gardens, famous for their orchid collection and lush greenery.(Optional tour depending on time)○ Enjoy Cultural Dance Show: In the evening, experience traditional Sri Lankan dances—often held at cultural centers in Kandy.
Overnight Stay at Kandy Hotel: Rest up after a full day of sightseeing. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 3: Kandy - Ramboda - Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the Hotel: Enjoy breakfast before your journey.
Leave for Nuwara Eliya: The drive takes about 2.5 to 3 hours with scenic views.○ Ramboda Waterfall: Stop for photos at this picturesque waterfall.○ Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple: Visit this beautiful temple, known for its stunning architecture.○ Tea Factory Plantation: Take a tour of a tea factory, learn about the tea-making process, and enjoy a tasting session.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya: Known as “Little England,” this area features colonial architecture and cool weather.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

Breakfast at the Hotel: Start your day with a good meal.
Nuwara Eliya City Tour:○ Seetha Amman Temple: Explore this temple connected to the Ramayana epic.○ Hakgala Garden: Visit this botanical garden, famous for its roses and scenic views.
Proceed to Bentota around 10am : The journey will take about 5-6 hours. On the way we will do the Madu River Safari: Experience a boat ride through the Madu River, exploring its mangroves and spotting wildlife.
Arrive in Bentota:
○ Enjoy Water Sports (Optional): Engage in activities such as jet skiing, windsurfing, or banana boat rides, depending on your interest Or just unwind by the beach or at the hotel
Overnight Stay at Bentota Hotel: Enjoy the beachside ambiance. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 5: Bentota - Colombo

Breakfast at the Hotel: Enjoy breakfast before your day of exploration.
Turtle Hatchery: Visit a local hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation efforts and see baby turtles.
Leave for Colombo: The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Colombo City Tour:
○ Explore major attractions such as the National Museum, Galle Face Green, and the vibrant Pettah Market.○ Shopping: Visit local markets or shopping centers for souvenirs and local crafts. ● Overnight Stay at Colombo Hotel: Wind down after a busy day.

Terms & Conditions

Payment

Booking Amount Rs 20,000/- for holding reservation
100% payment required 45 days in advance, failing which HerSafar team has the right to release the booking and cancellation charges as per cancellation policy will apply. No payment reminder will be given.

Cancellations

Within 30 days before arrival date: 100% of Package Cost
Between 30-45 days: 50% Cancellation charges, of Package Cost
No relaxation will be given on any account of emergency/medical reasons

Other Terms

Any additional costs due to weather / unforeseen situation’s, will have to be borne by the traveller.
Any pictures or Videos clicked during the trip can/will be used for social media posts/promotions. If you want to maintain privacy in this regard then it’s your sole duty to keep out of group pics or pics clicked with other participants. Post trip requests to not post or use any pics/videos will not be entertained.
Participating in the trip will be taken as acceptance to all policies/guidelines shared in this document.
We have a Zero tolerance policy towards any misbehaviour by any traveller towards drivers, hotel staff, trip hosts or towards any other co-travellers. Any bad behaviour will not be tolerated and that participant/traveller will be asked to leave right away and no refund will be made if any service is unused by that day/time.
This is a group travel and the itinerary will be followed as shared, no individual different itineraries/suggestions will be taken unless the trip leader is okay with them in every aspect along with all traveller/drivers/hotels. No arguments or pressure will be taken in this regard.
The Itinerary can be modified a little if there is unavailability of given stays, similar stay will be provided.
The guides/drivers and other local staff involved are for the entire group and no personal demands will be catered.
Please be sensitive towards your hosts privacy too and do not expect them to be around 24X7(unless an emergency)
Our team reserves the right to change the plan in case there is danger involved for the group or whenever the travel host deems it necessary.
Final word of the travel host will have to be followed by all the members.
No show and travel itinerary changes/cancellation due to bad weather or natural calamity will be non-refundable.
