• 10:00 a.m. Visit the Shymbulak Ski resort – Level 3 via Gondola

In just 1 hour, you can get from Almaty city center to its highest point (3200 meters) and drink coffee in the highest bar in the CIS using a 3 tier world-class Gondola.

On Shymbulak, you can have a great time even if you can’t ski or snowboard. All-day entertainment for the whole family is provided by cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine, an observation deck with powerful binoculars that rotate 360 degrees and a playground. For those who want to enjoy the mountain silence and admire the snowy slopes, the resort offers high-class hotels and various kinds of adventure activities such as Zip Lining, Paragliding, Horse riding etc.

• 10:00 a.m. Medeu and Shymbulak – Arrive at Medeu for a walk around, then go to Shymbulak by Cable Car with Spectacular views and mountains and nature.

From classic milk chocolates with velvety smoothness to rich dark chocolates with intense cocoa flavors, Rahat offers a variety of options to cater to different tastes.

• The Kok-Tobe recreational area has a variety of amusement park type attractions and restaurants. It is connected to downtown Almaty by a cable car line. The City Terminal is located near Hotel Kazakhstan. Also, there is a 372 meters tall TV Tower at the foot of the mountain. The tower can be seen from most parts of the city.

• 10:00 The Issyk is a picturesque lake located at the height of 1760 meters in the Issyk gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau, around 70 km east of Almaty among beautiful and thick forests along with vast flower fields. The Lake was formed due to a massive rock avalanche some 8000 years ago, which in turn resulted in a 300m high dam. In 1939, development along the lake was heightened only to be destroyed in 1963 by a glacial mudflow.
