Highlights:

Itinerary

Day 1: Bagdogra – Phuentsholing (165 kms / 5–6 hrs)

Arrive at Bagdogra airport by Noon and drive to Phuentsholing. Our team will assist.
We will stop for Lunch on the way at a local eatery.
On arrival at Phuentsholing, we will be received by our Bhutanese local guide.
Depending on our arrival time our Trip guide will assist you in procurement of your permit to Bhutan, if not taken in advance. The permit issuance takes time depending on the rush one has to stand in queue for procurement of permit. After immigration is complete, we will proceed to the hotel and check-in.
Rest after Dinner. Overnight at Phuentsholing Hote

Meals Included: Dinner

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (180 kms / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, we will leave for Thimphu (2320M / 7656Ft).
We will stop for Lunch on the way at a local eatery.
Reach Thimphu post lunch.
Later in the evening visit Taschichho Dzong View point.
Overnight at the Hotel in Thimpu.

Day 3: Thimphu Local Sightseeing – Drive to Punakha (77 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast we will go for Thimphu sightseeing covering:

Visit Simply Bhutan, Memorial Chorten(Can see from outside too), Buddha Point.

After lunch we will leave for Punakha(1200M/ 3936Ft).
Punakha is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080M / 10102Ft) which is very scenic with a fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan.
We will be stopping at Dochu La pass for a quick photo & tea/coffee stop. Overnight at the Hotel in Punakha.

Day 4: Punakha Sightseeing – Drive to Paro (120 kms / 4 hrs)

After breakfast we will visit Punakha Dzong. If time permits, visit the Suspension Bridge and then proceed to Chimi Lhakhang(Monastery).
Lunch after visiting Chimi Lhakhang at the village.
Enroute stop at Lamperi to visit the Royal Botanical Garden.
Check in to the hotel by late evening.
Overnight at the Hotel at Paro.

Day 5: Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest

After early breakfast leave for the day hike to TAKSANG LHAKHANG, popularly known as the Tiger’s Nest.
The hike which is all the way uphill takes about 6 hours / 6.5kms both ways through pine forests.
People who can’t hike or have no interest in hiking can explore the city on their own or just relax by the river or explore the market. Suggested places that they can explore are:

Drukgyel Dzong (Presently closed for tourist),Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang (Monastery) ● Evening free at leisure to explore Paro market.

Some good souvenir shops are there in Paro with some good cafe;s like the MOUNTAIN CAFE which you can visit and chill in.
Overnight at the Hotel at Paro. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 6: Paro – Phuentsholing

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel we will drive to the market.
Quick shopping time to pick souvenirs from the market.
We will have early lunch at the famous Mountain Cafe and then back to Phuentsholing.
Upon arrival by night we will check in at the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel at Phuentsholing.

Day 7: Phuntsholing – Drop at Bagdogra Airport

After an early breakfast we will drive for the Bagdogra Airport (165 Kms, 05 Hrs) to take a flight back home.
If we are on time, we can stop for a quick tea/snacks break before the airport.
Drop at the airport will be between 1-2pm. You can book any flight after 4pm.

With fond memories and beautiful experience we will bid goodbye to the Happy Land, Bhutan and our lovely co-travellers.

Exclusions

Flights/Train to/from Bagdogra.
5% GST and 5% TCS (TCS is claimable in ITR Filing).
Visa Charges for Non Indians.
Travel Insurance.
Any entrance fees(Total entrance fee is between INR 3000-4000).
Any Meals, beverages not mentioned or any kind of Personal expenses or shopping.
Gratuities to guides and drivers.
Activities like (Cycling, River Rafting, Motor Biking, Horse Riding, Cultural Program etc.).
Anything which is not mentioned under inclusion is not included in the cost.

Terms & Conditions

Payment

Booking Amount INR 15,000/- for holding reservation.
100% payment required 45 days before travel start date to avoid booking to be released. No payment reminders will be sent.

Cancellations

- Before 60 days 10% of the package cost
- Between 45-60 days before arrival date: 30% of the package cost
- Between 30-45 days before arrival date: 50% of the package Cost
- Within 30 days 100% Cancellation charges, of Package Cost
- If payment is not done as per payment policy cancellation will be applied. Note: There will be no refunds due to Covid or any other circumstances.

Other Terms

Any additional costs due to weather / unforeseen situations, will have to be borne by the traveler.
Any pictures or Videos clicked during the trip can/will be used for social media posts/promotions. If you want to maintain privacy in this regard then it’s your sole duty to keep out of group pics or pics clicked with other participants. Post trip requests to not post or use any pics/videos will not be entertained.
Participating in the trip will be taken as acceptance to all policies/guidelines shared in this document.
We have a Zero tolerance policy towards any misbehavior by any traveler towards drivers, hotel staff, trip hosts or towards any other co-travellers. Any bad behavior will not be tolerated and that participant/traveler will be asked to leave right away and no refund will be made if any service is unused by that day/time.
The guides/drivers and other local staff involved are for the entire group and no personal demands will be catered.
Please be sensitive towards your hosts privacy too and do not expect them to be around 24X7
Our team reserves the right to change the plan in case there is danger involved for the group or whenever the travel host deems it necessary/unavailability of stays.
Final word of the travel host will have to be followed by all the members.
No show and travel itinerary changes/cancellation due to bad weather or natural calamity will be non-refundable.
